Senior SEO Content Strategist – B2B Growth

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Africa, +4 more countries.

📋 Description

• Take full ownership of the content strategy from beginning to end across various formats, including blogs, guides, landing pages, emails, case studies, and other resources.

• Concentrate on enhancing ranking and visibility within AI engines and third-party platforms such as YouTube and Reddit.

• Utilize first-party data to inform content decisions and pinpoint high-performing opportunities.

• Develop simple tools for content creation and lead capture employing AI technologies.

• Evaluate performance data and replicate successful strategies.

• Collaborate with the Technical SEO Lead to ensure keyword and topic alignment while managing the content strategy.

• Brief and oversee designers, writers, and additional contributors.

• Monitor and report on leads, pipeline, and metrics related to AI visibility.

• Enhance on-page and off-page SEO, which includes internal linking, link building, and mentions in third-party brands.

• Report directly to the Head of Marketing.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of SEO/content experience in B2B, with a comprehensive understanding of B2B fundamentals.

• A truly AI-first mindset: actively using tools like ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, or Perplexity in your everyday workflow.

• Ideally, have experience with AI visibility tools; RemotePass employs Profound and is in the process of adopting Athena.

• Ability to create lightweight tools independently without engineering assistance.

• A commercial perspective that emphasizes leads and pipeline over mere traffic and rankings.

• Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills in English.

• Comfortable collaborating across various stakeholders and managing deliverables throughout the process.

• Possess a “figuring it out as we go” mentality and the capability to adapt in a rapidly changing environment.

• Experience in creating localized or international content (EMEA/MENA/GCC markets) is a plus.

• Familiarity with remote work, HR, payroll, or compliance issues is a bonus.
