This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Take ownership of the complete marketing strategy and its execution for Geotab’s Field Service segment.
• Spearhead comprehensive marketing strategies for designated segments and mobilize cross-functional teams.
• Define and uphold ideal customer profiles, market tiers, and buyer persona maps.
• Conduct interviews with buyers, surveys, win/loss analyses, and synthesize industry data.
• Convert market insights into marketing programs, messaging updates, and sales tools.
• Create vertical-specific content and enablement assets, which include positioning, brochures, videos, industry guides, web pages, case studies, playbooks, and pitch decks.
• Assist in market mapping, quarterly initiatives, and the identification of 1-, 3-, and 5-year opportunities.
• Clearly articulate Geotab’s value proposition and incorporate purchase drivers into segment playbooks and strategy briefs.
• Collaborate with Product Marketing on launches, segment tiering, value propositions, proof points, objection handling, and launch materials.
• Work alongside Sales and Business Development to develop segment- and account-specific growth strategies.
• Act as a thought leader and subject matter expert, representing Geotab at industry events and associations.
• Establish association relationships and engagement strategies to enhance Geotab’s visibility, influence, and networking presence within the industry.
• Demonstrate pipeline results achieved and support Field Service revenue objectives.
• A minimum of 8+ years of demonstrated experience in a marketing strategy role, preferably within B2B SaaS or technology organizations.
• At least 3+ years of experience in vertical or segment-specific B2B marketing.
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience.
• Experience in telematics, fleet management, or connected vehicle technology is a plus.
• Knowledge of industry-specific buyer dynamics, relevant compliance issues, and complex procurement processes.
• Proficiency in conducting and synthesizing buyer interviews, competitive intelligence, and win/loss data.
• Capability to translate research findings into actionable strategies.
• Strong skills in storytelling, analytical thinking, reporting, performance data interpretation, and data-informed decision-making.
• Experience in crafting value propositions and operationalizing them through messaging frameworks, marketing collateral, sales materials, and thought leadership content.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills across functions, with a proven history of building robust relationships with sales teams.
• Exceptional project management, time management, and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
• Occasional travel of up to 20% may be required.
• A reliable internet connection with a minimum of 50mb DL/10mb UL when working from home.
