This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +1 more state.
• Design, architect, and sustain scalable automation frameworks for PAM workflows.
• Create reusable automation libraries for API, integration, and end-to-end testing.
• Develop automation solutions for privileged access workflows, including credential rotation, access provisioning, and session management.
• Automate identity and authentication processes such as OAuth, SAML, and SSO.
• Validate access workflows across various protocols such as SSH, RDP, and other similar mechanisms.
• Construct and uphold automation for backend services, APIs, and cloud-based systems.
• Integrate automated test execution into CI/CD pipelines utilizing GitHub Actions or comparable tools.
• Oversee containerized test environments through Docker and Kubernetes.
• Investigate automation failures, conduct root-cause analysis, and enhance long-term stability.
• Work collaboratively with Engineering, QA, Security, and Product teams to incorporate testability into system designs.
• Contribute to quality engineering standards and best practices for automation across the organization.
• Leverage AI-assisted tools such as Claude, ChatGPT, GitHub Copilot, or similar platforms to aid in test development, debugging, root-cause analysis, documentation, and improving workflow efficiency.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in test automation, quality engineering, or software development in testing.
• Proficient programming skills in Python and/or JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Demonstrated experience in designing and constructing automation frameworks or test systems.
• Practical experience with contemporary automation tools such as Playwright or Pytest.
• Extensive experience in testing APIs, distributed systems, and workflows sensitive to security.
• Familiarity with integrating automation into CI/CD pipelines.
• Knowledge of containerized or cloud-native environments, including Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS.
• Understanding of authentication and identity concepts like OAuth, SAML, and identity providers.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex system interactions and automation issues.
• Strong communication abilities and the capacity to influence quality practices across teams.
• Willingness and capability to effectively utilize AI-assisted tools to enhance test automation, debugging, technical analysis, and documentation.
• Candidates must be a U.S. Person due to the role’s involvement with FedRAMP compliance requirements.
• Preferred: experience in testing privileged access management or identity-centric security products.
• Preferred: familiarity with cloud or security automation frameworks.
• Preferred: exposure to SSH, RDP, and VNC.
• Preferred: experience contributing to automation metrics or observability systems.
