This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.
• Assist Engineering Scrum Teams in developing high-impact software and features that provide value to customers.
• Act as a catalyst for continuous improvement and transformation by maintaining Scrum teams’ focus, guiding delivery, eliminating obstacles, and ensuring teams receive necessary support.
• Align teams, identify delivery risks, propose process enhancements, and escalate blockers that require leadership intervention.
• Facilitate communication and track progress on team commitments, keeping stakeholders informed.
• Advocate for Agile values, principles, practices, and change management throughout Scrum teams and the LegalMatch organization.
• Assess and improve Agile practices to enhance software delivery effectiveness.
• Oversee the Definition of Ready, Definition of Done, working agreements, estimation practices, and planning for cross-team dependencies.
• Lead Scrum ceremonies, including stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, retrospectives, and backlog refinement.
• Assist Product Owners with refining, organizing, optimizing the product backlog, and aligning team goals and OKRs with business priorities.
• Coordinate release planning and deployment activities in collaboration with Scrum, Release and Incident Management, and engineering teams.
• Onboard, train, mentor, and coach members of the Scrum team.
• Monitor team health and guide ongoing improvements, self-organization, ownership, and organizational outcomes.
• Collaborate with HR and Practice Leads on performance evaluations of probationary team members.
• Create coaching plans that promote continuous learning and professional development.
• Encourage the responsible use of AI-powered tools, automation, documentation, planning, knowledge sharing, delivery tracking, and engineering workflows.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Scrum Master or in a comparable Agile leadership position.
• Demonstrated servant leadership through proactive problem-solving and setting a positive example.
• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies, techniques, and frameworks, including Scrum and Kanban.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Agile Scrum Master Certification and/or SAFe Certification is preferred but not mandatory.
• Solid comprehension of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
• Experience with AI tools such as ChatGPT, GitHub Copilot, Claude, and Gemini for Agile delivery, collaboration, documentation, planning, development workflows, or automation.
• Capability to assess and implement emerging AI tools for team productivity while ensuring responsible and effective use.
• Ability to advocate for practical and responsible AI adoption while maintaining quality and supporting engineering and governance practices.
• Advanced proficiency in Jira and Confluence, covering JQL, automation rules, dashboards, reporting, velocity, cycle time, throughput, and delivery metrics.
