Scrum Master

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in District of Columbia, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Lead Scrum ceremonies, such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.

• Oversee pilot activities across both technical and functional teams, monitoring milestones, dependencies, risks, and deliverables.

• Collaborate with program leadership and product stakeholders to influence the AI roadmap and prioritize pilot projects.

• Collect and document stakeholder requirements, converting business needs into user stories and acceptance criteria.

• Assist in backlog refinement and prioritization alongside the Product Owner and development teams.

• Identify and facilitate the resolution of impediments that impact team productivity or pilot advancement.

• Undertake additional responsibilities as assigned.

• Aid in the planning, coordination, and execution of technology pilot initiatives, including Digital Twin, DICOS Image Tagging, and a potential LLM pilot.

• Promote Agile delivery, stakeholder engagement, product management activities, and the development of AI initiatives and pilot projects.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree.

• 3+ years of relevant experience.

• Experience in supporting technology implementation, product management, or business analysis initiatives.

• Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.

• Ability to create project documentation, status reports, and recommendations.

• Must meet Security Eligibility requirements.

• TSA experience is highly desirable.

• DHS public trust is strongly preferred and will be prioritized.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.

• Strong fluency in AI and familiarity with tools such as Copilot, Claude, or similar technologies.

• Experience in supporting AI-enabled products or innovation initiatives.

• Experience in requirements gathering and roadmap development.

• Ability to bridge the needs of business and technical stakeholders.
