Senior Scrum Master

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida, +8 more states.

📋 Description

• Facilitate collaboration and alignment among multiple Agile teams, Product Owners, stakeholders, Scrum Masters, and the Program Team.

• Guide Scrum Teams in adhering to Scrum and SAFe methodologies and practices.

• Coach, mentor, and facilitate to enhance Agile skills and mindset.

• Foster an empowering, accountable, adaptable, collaborative, and high-performing team environment.

• Facilitate key ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Daily Scrum, Sprint Review, and Sprint Retrospective.

• Support Program Increment (PI) Planning, System Demos, and Inspect and Adapt sessions.

• Mentor Product Owners on creating user stories, prioritizing them, and refining the backlog.

• Identify and eliminate impediments while making work progress and blockers visible.

• Utilize team metrics to demonstrate capacity, predictability, and maturity.

• Assist teams in navigating organizational change using Kotter's Leading Change and PROSCI ADKAR methodologies.

• Collaborate with Scrum Masters and Agile Coaches to enhance organizational Agile practices.

• Share insights and learnings through Communities of Practice.

• Implement organizational policies, practices, and data-driven decision-making.

• Independently ascertain work methods, priorities, and timelines.

• Drive value-focused frameworks that emphasize flow, quality, predictability, modern engineering practices, and continuous improvement.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in an Agile environment.

• At least 3 years of experience as a Scrum Master.

• A minimum of 2 years of experience working with Agile methodologies on large-scale, technically complex projects.

• Comprehensive understanding of Agile methodologies, values, practices, and patterns.

• Demonstrated experience in coaching and mentoring others.

• Proven capability to facilitate the removal of impediments.

• Advanced skills in facilitation, presentation, stakeholder engagement, and cross-functional collaboration.

• Ability to thrive in a VUCA (Volatile, Uncertain, Complex, Ambiguous) environment.

• Validated Agile certifications such as CSM, A-CSM, SA, PSM, IC Agile, ACC, or IC-Agile ATF.

• Proficiency with Agile Tracking tools like ADO, Jira, VersionOne (Digital.ai), or Rally.

• A dedicated workspace free from ongoing interruptions to ensure the protection of member PHI/HIPAA information.

• Home internet connection with a minimum of 25 Mbps download and 10 Mbps upload speed.

• Preferred: Bachelor's degree in business management, Information Technology, or a related field.

• Preferred: Over 5 years of experience as a Scrum Master in a SAFe environment.

• Preferred: Experience with team metrics, Lean methodologies, portfolio tools, Agile coaching, SAFe certifications, Gherkin, DevOps, Azure DevOps, and cloud-based initiatives.
