Team Coach – Scrum Master

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Lead Sprint Planning, Backlog Refinement, Daily coordination, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives.

• Mentor Product Teams and stakeholders in Agile methodologies, Scrum practices, and effective product workflows.

• Assist Product Owners with ensuring backlog readiness, quality, transparency, and prioritization.

• Utilize Jira and delivery metrics to pinpoint bottlenecks, risks, dependencies, and opportunities for improvement.

• Facilitate the identification, escalation, and resolution of impediments and delivery risks.

• Drive continuous improvement initiatives and ensure follow-through on actions from retrospectives.

• Encourage transparency regarding delivery progress, commitments, risks, and dependencies.

• Enhance collaboration between Product Teams and stakeholders.

• Support enhancements in planning discipline, backlog management, delivery flow, and team effectiveness.

• Leverage team-level delivery indicators to spot trends and identify areas for improvement.

• Assist teams in developing sustainable working methods and boost autonomy and self-organization.


⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated experience as a Scrum Master, Agile Coach, Team Coach, or in a similar capacity within a product development setting.

• Comprehensive practical knowledge of Scrum, Agile principles, and product-centric approaches.

• Experience in supporting one or more Product Teams, ideally in a complex or cross-functional setting.

• Strong facilitation and coaching capabilities.

• Proficient in collaborating effectively with Product Owners, Tech Leads, Engineers, and stakeholders.

• Familiarity with Jira and delivery/team metrics.

• Solid understanding of backlog management, refinement, prioritization, sprint planning, and delivery flow.

• Capability to facilitate the resolution of impediments, dependencies, and delivery risks.

• A data-driven and pragmatic approach to continuous improvement and team effectiveness.

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.

• Coaching mindset aimed at empowering teams to become more self-organizing and effective.

• Experience in translating retrospective insights into actionable and measurable improvements.

• Ability to operate effectively in a complex, cross-functional, and distributed environment.

• Proficient in English, both written and spoken.
