This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Set goals and strategies that align with Program Increment objectives
• Guide technical teams and Product Owners in Agile methodologies, including Epic and User Story creation, Scrum, and Kanban
• Manage expectations of various Product Owners
• Engage in client negotiations and liaise with senior management
• Lead significant tasks or technology assignments
• Facilitate communication among teams to identify dependencies and risks, and develop mitigation strategies
• Organize and lead Scrum ceremonies, such as daily standups, Sprint Planning/Grooming, Sprint Reviews/Demos, and Retrospectives
• Maintain JIRA and other team information displays
• Mentor and guide team members on Agile values, principles, practices, and processes
• Empower teams to achieve self-organization and self-management
• Collaborate with Product Management to develop release plans and ensure backlogs are well-groomed, prioritized, and transparent
• Inspire teams and foster shared accountability for analysis, development, testing, and documentation
• Identify, manage, and communicate project risks, dependencies, and obstacles
• Ensure that the definition of done is established at story, sprint, and release levels
• Facilitate discussions, decision-making processes, and conflict resolution
• Protect teams from external disruptions
• Enhance communication and transparency
• Create a trusting and secure environment for problem-solving
• Evaluate Scrum maturity and guide teams towards sustainable improvement
• Suggest modifications to delivery practices
• Participate in Scrum of Scrums meetings for cross-team collaboration and release planning
• Build strong relationships with stakeholders, including customers
• Assist in modernizing a mission-critical case management application utilized by U.S. courts and external stakeholders
• Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of five (5+) years of experience in an Agile development setting
• Proficient in using and implementing the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe)
• Capability to manage multiple projects and multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Experience in software development or within a software development organization
• Ability to cultivate team dynamics and collaboration
• Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or Agile Certified Scrum Master (PMI-ACP) required
• PMP certification is mandatory
• Strong influence, collaboration, and negotiation abilities
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a knack for identifying win-win solutions
• Proficient facilitation skills
• Effective coaching and mentoring capabilities
• Exceptional oral and written communication skills
• Energetic, goal-driven, detail-oriented, proactive, innovative, diligent, and patient
• No security clearance is necessary
• U.S. citizenship is not a requirement
