This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.
• Guide and mentor Scrum teams in self-organization, cross-functionality, and achieving their objectives.
• Facilitate sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
• Identify and eliminate obstacles that impede team progress.
• Coach development teams, Product Owners, and stakeholders on Agile methodologies and practices.
• Encourage communication and collaboration within and among Scrum teams and stakeholders.
• Assist Product Owners with managing the product backlog and refining user stories.
• Advocate for Agile adoption and continuous improvement throughout the organization.
• Monitor and report on team progress, velocity, and other relevant metrics.
• Mediate and resolve conflicts within Scrum teams and with external stakeholders.
• Contribute to the scaling of Agile practices across multiple teams.
• Provide training and guidance on Scrum and Agile methodologies.
• Engage with stakeholders on both the delivery and customer sides at all levels of the organization.
• Collaborate with PMO colleagues and leadership on status updates, issues, risks, decisions, and change requests.
• Lead and inspire project teams while overseeing engineers and architects in infrastructure modernization, data engineering, and application development.
• Assist the PMO Center of Excellence in implementing sustainable organizational change.
• Regularly interact with customers regarding opportunity assessment, project initiation, progress updates, and project closure.
• A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• SAFe experience, including certification and application in at least two or three projects.
• Comprehensive understanding of Agile principles, values, and the Scrum framework.
• Proven capability to facilitate effective Scrum ceremonies and manage a product backlog.
• Experience in identifying and resolving impediments.
• Strong coaching and mentoring abilities.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict-resolution skills.
• Experience in working with cross-functional teams.
• Familiarity with tools like Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, and Smartsheet.
• A minimum of three years of experience managing IT deployment projects.
• At least seven years of relevant experience in a technical, engineering, or software development environment.
• Experience in managing a team of engineers.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical reasoning abilities.
