Senior Scrum Master

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Lead and facilitate the complete Scrum lifecycle, encompassing sprint planning, daily standups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.

• Collaborate with Task Managers, Product Owners, and team members to customize Agile ceremonies and workflows.

• Propel continuous process enhancements and eliminate obstacles.

• Safeguard teams against scope creep and ensure that commitments are realistic and achievable.

• Manage backlogs, sprint boards, documentation, and team artifacts utilizing Jira and Confluence.

• Monitor and report Agile health metrics, such as velocity, burndown, and sprint predictability.

• Convey Agile metrics to leadership in a clear and actionable manner.

• Coordinate multiple teams and stakeholders to harmonize priorities and manage dependencies.

• Assist in analytics related to fraud, waste, and abuse for Healthcare Fraud Prevention Partnership partners.

• Collaborate with technical teams, data science, engineering, and other stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of analytics.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of relevant experience.

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience in leading Scrum teams.

• CSM, PSM, or a similar Agile/Scrum certification is preferred but not mandatory.

• 5–8+ years of experience functioning as a Scrum Master or Agile facilitator.

• Background in supporting technical and/or data-centric teams, such as data engineering, data science, analytics, or software development.

• Proven experience in guiding teams through Agile adoption and ongoing improvement.

• Proficient in using Jira and Confluence for backlog management, sprint tracking, and Agile documentation.

• Skilled in generating and interpreting Agile metrics, including velocity, burndown, and sprint predictability.

• Strong skills in facilitation, communication, and conflict resolution.

• Capacity to influence and inspire without direct managerial authority.

• Ability to coordinate across various teams and manage competing priorities.

• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.

• Must reside in the United States.

• US citizenship is not required.
