Scrum Master

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Serve as a servant leader for a dedicated team and its stakeholders.

• Support the team and Product Owner in organizing and prioritizing the backlog.

• Lead teams of lower complexity with minimal external dependencies or impacts.

• Remove obstacles and address issues with assistance from the Release Train Engineer or additional resources.

• Manage and resolve dependencies to enhance team progress and encourage high performance.

• Oversee team performance in areas such as quality, predictability, flow, and velocity; identify and rectify SAFe anti-patterns.

• Guide the team in Agile methodologies, decision-making, problem-solving, communication, self-management, and self-organization.

• Foster a trusting and secure environment where issues can be openly discussed.

• Assist in managing interpersonal conflicts, challenges, and opportunities for development.

• Facilitate Agile ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, sprint retrospectives, sprint planning, backlog refinement, and Program Increment Planning preparation.

• Engage in Scrum Mastery Sync and Agile Release Train Sync meetings.

• Commit to ongoing education in Agile methodologies.

• Collaborate with the Scrum Master Community of Practice to enhance product delivery capabilities.

• Partner with Scrum Masters and Release Train Engineers to establish best practices and address issues, risks, conflicts, and impediments.

• Carry out additional responsibilities as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in an Agile setting or equivalent.

• At least 2 years of experience as a Project Manager/Scrum Master.

• Proven experience working with stakeholders and collaborating with nearshore and offshore teams.

• Exceptional communication skills.
