Scrum Master

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.

📋 Description

• Assist three Scrum teams within the Professional Services division

• Facilitate standard Scrum ceremonies and eliminate obstacles

• Navigate a scaled agile framework, including release and quarterly planning

• Oversee project scope, timelines, and costs to align with stakeholder expectations

• Simplify complex messages and status updates for managers, directors, and key stakeholders

• Coach team members in Agile methodologies and SDLC processes

• Guide teams towards self-organization, self-management, self-discipline, and continuous improvement

• Create a trusting, open, and secure environment that encourages transparency and innovation

• Promote interpersonal relationships in a remote setting through team-building activities, games, and learning

• Collaborate with technical leads to provide performance feedback, coaching, and opportunities for professional growth; may include people management

• Work with Scrum team members to ensure effective sprint execution through inspection, adaptation, and best practices

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, or a related field preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and experience

• Over 2 years of experience as a Scrum Master or in a similar role

• Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills, along with problem-solving abilities

• A strong emphasis on delivering exceptional customer service

• Naturally curious and committed to improving processes

• Highly organized and detail-oriented

• Strong initiative and ability to follow through

• Willingness and desire to work in a highly collaborative, self-organizing team environment

• Openness to giving and receiving feedback

• Capability to work independently while also knowing when to seek assistance

• Scrum Master certification and/or Project Management certifications are advantageous

• Must be authorized to work for any employer in the United States
