Senior Scrum Master

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Facilitate Agile ceremonies for teams, ensuring emphasis on Sprint goals and value delivery.

• Foster alignment between technical and business teams.

• Assist in crafting user stories and acceptance criteria.

• Aid in the effective prioritization and organization of the backlog.

• Continuously assess and enhance workflow processes.

• Identify bottlenecks, eliminate waste, and find opportunities to enhance the delivery process.

• Track and disseminate Agile metrics to support informed decision-making.

• Contribute to improved delivery predictability and efficiency.

• Proactively address and remove blockers and impediments impacting the team.

• Promote self-organization, collaboration, and continuous enhancement.

• Cultivate an environment of psychological safety and innovation.

• Advocate for Agile best practices.

• Lead activities, workshops, and training sessions to elevate the organization’s Agile maturity.

• Serve as a transformation agent, linking people, processes, technology, and outcomes.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive experience as a Scrum Master or Agile Coach in software development and digital product environments.

• Strong expertise in Scrum, Kanban, Lean, and Design Sprint principles and methodologies.

• Proven experience leading and facilitating Agile ceremonies: Daily Scrum, Sprint Planning, Sprint Review, Retrospective, and Backlog Refinement.

• Proficient in analyzing and presenting flow and performance metrics, such as Throughput, Lead Time, Cycle Time, Cumulative Flow Diagram (CFD), Burn-down, and Burn-up.

• Experience in identifying, managing, and eliminating operational, technical, and organizational impediments.

• Advanced proficiency in Jira Software, Confluence, and Azure Boards.

• Exceptional interpersonal communication skills.

• Ability to mediate conflicts, facilitate agreements, and influence stakeholders at various organizational levels.

• Certifications such as PSM I/II, CSM, PSPO, PMI-ACP, KMP, or equivalent are advantageous.

• Experience with scaling Agile methodologies like SAFe, LeSS, Nexus, or the Spotify Model is a plus.

• Knowledge of CI/CD, DevOps, QA, automated testing, microservices architecture, and middleware is beneficial.

• Experience with advanced facilitation techniques is a plus.

• Experience in defining, tracking, and cascading OKRs is a plus.

• Previous experience in software development or roles such as technical analyst or QA professional is advantageous.
