Senior Scientific Director

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.

📋 Description

• Oversee the scientific team responsible for executing strategic Medical Affairs projects.

• Direct and manage accounts to guarantee the delivery of high-quality, precise medical and scientific content.

• Enhance and expand Medical Affairs initiatives.

• Organize, lead, and facilitate strategic client interactions, which include advisory boards, strategic planning meetings, workshops, and other scientific and Medical Affairs activities.

• Identify and formulate strategic and tactical business recommendations.

• Act as a trusted strategic advisor to clients.

• Utilize scientific, therapeutic, drug development, and market knowledge to recognize needs and foresee challenges.

• Convey scientific and therapeutic information within CRM systems.

• Promote innovation and collaboration throughout Nucleus.

• Collaborate with scientific and client services VPs, as well as the managing director, on business development efforts.

⛳️ Requirements

• PhD, PharmD, or MD with over 10 years of pertinent medical communications experience.

• Comprehensive knowledge of Medical Affairs functions within the cardio-renal-metabolic (CRM) domain.

• Proven history of successful scientific leadership across multiple clients and therapeutic areas.

• Experience with US product launches is essential.

• Global experience is advantageous.

• Willingness to travel as needed.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.

• Experience in managing staff or direct reports, possibly across various locations.
