Senior SBA Product Business Development Officer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Louisiana, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Promote a comprehensive suite of banking services to businesses eligible for Small Business Administration (SBA) loans, focusing on client engagement, origination, and evaluation.

• Independently generate SBA loan origination by prioritizing client interaction, origination, and assessment.

• Analyze financial statements and accompanying documentation.

• Develop SBA loan proposals.

• Conduct preliminary analysis and assemble credit packages.

• Guarantee adherence to relevant federal, state, and local laws and regulations, agency guidelines, and organizational policies.

• Carry out additional responsibilities as assigned.

• Assist the bank's markets across Texas, Arkansas, and Louisiana, with the capability to source business nationwide.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience of 4 years in SBA lending.

• At least 5 years of experience in SBA/Business/Commercial lending.

• A degree in Business or Finance is preferred.

• Experience in originating SBA loans.

• Knowledge of commercial loan underwriting systems.

• Outstanding customer service and interpersonal skills.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including professionalism in grammar and demeanor.

• Excellent organizational abilities with a keen attention to detail.

• Capability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

• Proficiency in PC and internet usage.

• Must be a resident of Texas, Arkansas, or Louisiana.
