Senior SBA Product Business Development Officer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Promote a comprehensive array of banking services to businesses eligible for Small Business Administration (SBA) loans.

• Independently source SBA loan origination, focusing on client engagement, sourcing, and analysis.

• Evaluate financial statements and relevant documentation.

• Create structured proposals for SBA loans.

• Conduct preliminary analysis and assemble credit packages.

• Ensure adherence to federal, state, and local laws and regulations, agency guidelines, and organizational policies.

• Perform additional duties as required.

• Provide support to the bank's operations in Alabama and Mississippi, while also possessing the capability to source business nationwide.

⛳️ Requirements

• A bachelor's degree or equivalent experience of 4 years in SBA lending.

• At least 5 years of experience in SBA/Business/Commercial lending.

• A degree in Business or Finance is preferred.

• Experience in originating SBA loans and familiarity with commercial loan underwriting systems is preferred.

• Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills.

• Strong written and verbal communication abilities, including professional grammar and demeanor in face-to-face and phone interactions.

• Excellent organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.

• Capability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

• Proficiency in PC and internet use.
