Senior SBA Business Development Officer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.

📋 Description

• Promote a comprehensive array of banking services to businesses eligible for Small Business Administration (SBA) loans

• Independently source SBA loan origination, focusing on client engagement, origination, and analysis

• Analyze financial statements and relevant documentation

• Develop SBA loan proposals

• Conduct initial assessments and create credit packages

• Ensure adherence to relevant laws, regulations, agency guidelines, and organizational policies

• Perform additional responsibilities as assigned

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience of 4 years in SBA lending

• At least 5 years of experience in SBA/Business/Commercial lending

• Degree in Business or Finance is preferred

• Experience in originating SBA loans

• Knowledge of commercial loan underwriting systems

• Exceptional customer service and interpersonal abilities

• Strong written and verbal communication skills, both in person and over the phone, with professional grammar and demeanor

• Excellent organizational skills with a keen eye for detail

• Capability to manage multiple tasks

• Proficiency in PC and internet usage

• Ability to ensure compliance with relevant federal, state, and local laws and regulations, agency guidelines, and organizational policies
