Senior Salesforce Health Cloud Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alaska, +29 more states.

📋 Description

• Create, code, troubleshoot, test, document, and deploy Salesforce Health Cloud solutions, which encompass application customizations and integrations with third-party services.

• Assess, design, and develop code for system interfaces and data integration services utilizing Salesforce SOAP and REST APIs.

• Transform logical designs into program code leveraging Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Visualforce, JavaScript, and Flows.

• Review and evaluate software packages, patches, and upgrades provided by vendors.

• Investigate application modules, comprehend underlying business processes, and suggest improvements to those processes.

• Collaborate with the Salesforce Health Cloud Administrator to assist in guiding system modifications.

• Act as a technical resource for novice developers and provide escalation support for complex technical issues.

• Create test plans, execute unit and system testing, analyze defect logs, engage in code reviews, and revise programs to accommodate evolving requirements.

• Engage in Agile/Scrum ceremonies using Jira and utilize Salesforce DevOps tools and CI/CD pipelines.

• Draft system design documents, technical reports, user manuals, and change control documentation.

• Fulfill on-call support responsibilities and implement system changes during occasional evenings or weekends.

• Must reside and work in an eligible U.S. state or territory: AK, AR, AZ, CO, FL, HI, IA, ID, IL, KS, LA, MD, MN, MO, MT, NE, NV, NM, NC, ND, OK, OR, SC, SD, TN, TX, UT, VA/DC, WA, WI, WY.

• U.S. Citizenship is mandatory.

• Ability to obtain and sustain a favorable interim and adjudicated final Department of Defense (DoD) background investigation.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field, including coursework in programming and database systems, or equivalent practical experience.

• Over 5 years of general application development and support experience.

• More than 3 years of direct, hands-on experience in Salesforce Health Cloud development.

• Practical development experience within a Salesforce Government Cloud or Government Cloud Plus environment.

• At least 3 years of experience with Salesforce DevOps toolsets and CI/CD methodologies.

• Proficient in JavaScript, Apex, Flows, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Visualforce, SOAP, and REST APIs.

• Technical knowledge of healthcare systems or government contracting systems.

• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments utilizing Jira.

• Preferred: 7+ years of general application development and support experience.

• Preferred: 4+ years of direct, hands-on experience with Salesforce Health Cloud development.

• Preferred: 4+ years of experience with Salesforce DevOps tools and CI/CD practices.

• Preferred certifications include Salesforce Platform App Builder, Platform Developer I, and/or Platform Developer II.

• Preferred hands-on experience with Aura framework, OmniScript, and Einstein Analytics.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills tailored for technical teams and business stakeholders.
