This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alaska, +29 more states.
• Design, code, debug, test, document, and implement solutions for Salesforce Health Cloud.
• Customize applications and integrate Salesforce with external software.
• Collaborate with the Salesforce Health Cloud Administrator to provide functional and technical support.
• Support system interfaces and data integration, monitor critical workflows, and address or escalate issues.
• Create and implement new business processes within specified configurations.
• Assess, support, and test vendor-supplied software packages, upgrades, and patches.
• Investigate software modules and propose process enhancements to improve application functionality.
• Plan, coordinate, and guide modifications to Salesforce for existing and planned designs.
• Design user interfaces and workflows that align with business requirements.
• Develop system interfaces and data integration services utilizing Salesforce APIs.
• Transform logical designs into program code and complete intricate coding tasks.
• Analyze, review, and revise programs to enhance efficiency or fulfill new requirements.
• Engage in code reviews alongside Lead Developers.
• Act as a technical and functional resource for entry-level developers.
• Provide escalation support for daily trouble ticket resolutions.
• Assist functional end users and troubleshoot system issues.
• Coordinate application operations and communicate upgrades, fixes, new processes, and module impacts.
• Create test plans, prepare test data, conduct testing, assess defects, and revise code as necessary.
• Generate technical reports, instructional manuals, system design documents, and program documentation.
• Conduct reporting using standard tools and manage reported issues.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum project meetings, user story discussions, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
• Document change control and provide on-call support.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field with relevant coursework in programming and database systems, or equivalent experience.
• U.S. citizenship is required.
• Must be able to receive a favorable interim and adjudicated final Department of Defense background investigation.
• Minimum of five years of general application development and support experience.
• At least three years of practical experience with Salesforce Health Cloud.
• A minimum of three years of experience utilizing Salesforce DevOps toolsets and CI/CD practices.
• Hands-on Salesforce development experience within a Salesforce Government Cloud environment.
• Technical expertise in healthcare systems or government contract systems.
• Proficiency in JavaScript, Flows, Apex, Lightning Web Components, Visualforce, SOAP, and REST.
• Experience working in an Agile environment using Jira or a similar tool.
• Capability to communicate effectively with both technical and business stakeholders.
• Candidate must operate from an approved home workspace, avoiding public, shared, or outside locations.
• Candidate must possess hands-on experience with Salesforce Government Cloud or Government Cloud Plus development.
• Candidate must have a minimum of three years of hands-on experience with Salesforce Health Cloud development.
• Resume should detail relevant Government Cloud and Health Cloud projects, responsibilities, modules, and dates.
• Preferred: seven or more years of general application development and support experience.
• Preferred: four years of experience with Salesforce Health Cloud.
• Preferred: four years of experience with Salesforce DevOps toolsets and CI/CD practices.
• Preferred: Salesforce Platform App Builder, Platform Developer I, and/or Platform Developer II certification.
• Preferred: experience with Aura framework and OmniScript.
• Preferred: strong written and verbal communication abilities.
• Preferred: experience with Salesforce Lightning Web Components and Einstein Analytics.
