Senior Salesforce Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.

📋 Description

• Develop and sustain tailored Salesforce solutions utilizing Apex, Lightning Web Components, Flows, and declarative functionalities.

• Engage in comprehensive Salesforce enhancement implementation, covering everything from requirements gathering to deployment and ongoing support.

• Implement scalable and maintainable design patterns for triggers, flows, automation, and custom components.

• Produce high-quality, testable code with unit test coverage and take part in code review processes.

• Create and uphold Salesforce integrations with both external and internal systems utilizing REST/SOAP APIs, middleware, and event-driven architectures.

• Collaborate with backend engineers on integration agreements between Salesforce and Java-based services.

• Investigate and resolve intricate integration and data flow challenges.

• Convert business requirements into technical solutions in coordination with Product Managers, Business Analysts, and cross-functional partners.

• Assist with data migrations, imports/exports, data quality, security, access control, performance, reliability, and availability.

• Generate technical documentation and contribute to best practices in Salesforce DX, Git, CI/CD, testing, deployment, and platform scalability.

⛳️ Requirements

• 3–5 years of practical experience in Salesforce engineering.

• High level of proficiency in Apex, Lightning Web Components, and Salesforce automation.

• Experience with Salesforce configuration, encompassing custom objects, flows, validation rules, and security model design.

• Proven experience in building and maintaining API-based integrations between Salesforce and third-party or internal systems.

• Familiarity with Salesforce DX, Git, and CI/CD pipelines.

• Capability to work autonomously on complex projects while effectively collaborating within a team environment.

• Strong analytical skills and meticulous attention to detail.
