Salesforce Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and articulate Salesforce solutions tailored to the strategic business and technical needs of customers.

• Collaborate with program managers, technical colleagues, business partners, and various stakeholders.

• Lead efforts for Salesforce implementation.

• Deliver architectural designs and strategic solutions.

• Convert customer requirements and USSF baseline features into Agile user stories and acceptance criteria.

• Configure Salesforce using declarative methods, including Flows, page layouts, validation rules, Lightning record pages, and Experience Cloud.

• Facilitate sprint demonstrations.

• Assist with User Acceptance Testing (UAT).

• Prepare guidance for end-users and create knowledge-transfer documents.

• Provide oversight for programs and solutions architecture related to Salesforce applications.

• Assess Salesforce integrations with third-party solutions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Transform customer needs and USSF baseline features into detailed Agile user stories and acceptance criteria.

• Hands-on experience with Salesforce declarative configuration, including Flows, page layouts, validation rules, Lightning record pages, and Experience Cloud site configuration.

• Proven experience in providing program oversight and solutions architecture for Salesforce applications.

• Background in Salesforce end-to-end implementation.

• Experience as a Solution Architect on implementation projects utilizing Agile and iterative methodologies.

• Understanding of SFDC architectural concepts and their impact on design.

• Experience in deploying solutions that include Experience Cloud.

• Evaluation experience of Salesforce integrations with third-party solutions.

• Familiarity with integration styles, architectural patterns, and methodologies.

• Strong knowledge of software quality assurance best practices and methodologies.

• Understanding of Business Process Management (BPM) techniques and tools.

• 3–5 years of practical experience in Salesforce functional configuration and business analysis.

• Proficient in Salesforce Flow Builder and Experience Cloud administration.

• Certified Salesforce Administrator and/or Platform App Builder.

• At least five years of overall work experience.

• Experience in IT with a focus on Salesforce and/or other no-code/low-code platform projects, DevSecOps, and technical architecture.

• A minimum of three years of experience in architecting Salesforce production enterprise applications.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

• Must be a US Citizen.

• Must successfully pass pre-employment qualifications set by Cherokee Federal.

• TS/SCI Polygraph is highly preferred.

• Preferred certifications include Salesforce Sales Cloud/Service Cloud Consultant and Experience Cloud Consultant.

• Preferred certifications also include Certified Salesforce Application Architect and/or System Architect.
