Senior Salesforce Developer – Lead

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in District of Columbia, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Oversee the design, development, enhancement, and implementation of enterprise Salesforce solutions.

• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to Salesforce developers and technical teams.

• Architect and create scalable solutions utilizing Salesforce Lightning, Apex, and contemporary development frameworks.

• Collaborate with both business and technical stakeholders to convert intricate requirements into technical solutions.

• Establish and uphold development standards, coding practices, and best practices.

• Conduct code evaluations and ensure adherence to security, performance, and maintainability standards.

• Design and develop complex integrations between Salesforce and enterprise systems.

• Lead troubleshooting initiatives and resolve highly complex production challenges.

• Support platform modernization, performance enhancement, and reduction of technical debt initiatives.

• Partner with Solution Architects to execute enterprise architecture strategies and roadmaps.

• Guide Agile development teams through sprint planning, design sessions, and release processes.

• Collaborate with QA teams to ensure thorough testing and delivery of high-quality solutions.

• Support DevOps and CI/CD automation initiatives.

• Ensure compliance with federal security, privacy, accessibility, and governance standards.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related discipline.

• A minimum of 10 years of software development experience.

• At least 7 years of Salesforce development experience.

• A minimum of 3 years leading Salesforce development teams within large enterprise settings.

• Extensive experience in developing custom Salesforce applications and integrations.

• Proficiency in designing and implementing scalable enterprise solutions.

• Strong understanding of software architecture principles and secure coding practices.

• Experience in Agile and DevSecOps environments.

• Exceptional communication, leadership, and stakeholder engagement abilities.

• Capability to obtain and maintain any necessary federal background investigation.

• Experience in supporting federal healthcare, health IT, or government modernization initiatives.

• Salesforce Platform Developer I Certification.

• Salesforce Platform Developer II Certification.

• Salesforce Application Architect Certification preferred.

• Experience in supporting Salesforce Government Cloud implementations.

• Experience leading distributed development teams.

• Experience in supporting large-scale enterprise transformation programs.

• Must be able to obtain and maintain any required federal background investigation or VA clearance.

• U.S. Citizenship is required.
