This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in District of Columbia, +1 more state.
• Oversee the design and execution of comprehensive Salesforce solutions within various business and technology sectors.
• Establish complete architecture, integration strategies, data models, and platform plans.
• Act as the technical expert for Salesforce platform functionalities and industry best practices.
• Work in partnership with stakeholders to convert business needs into scalable technical solutions.
• Create architecture roadmaps that align with strategic objectives and modernization efforts.
• Design integrations that connect Salesforce with external systems, applications, and data platforms.
• Ensure that solutions adhere to federal security, privacy, accessibility, and governance standards.
• Offer support during development, testing, deployment, and production support phases.
• Conduct architecture reviews, technical assessments, and solution evaluations.
• Create and uphold architecture standards, design patterns, and development best practices.
• Provide mentorship to developers, administrators, and technical leaders across the organization.
• Assist Agile delivery teams and engage in sprint planning, backlog refinement, and release activities.
• Identify chances to utilize new Salesforce features and emerging technologies.
• Collaborate closely with business stakeholders, product owners, developers, security teams, and program leadership.
• Deliver technical leadership, solution design, and architectural oversight for a federal healthcare modernization initiative.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• At least 10 years of IT experience, including a minimum of 5 years in Salesforce architecture.
• Significant experience in designing enterprise Salesforce solutions within complex environments.
• In-depth knowledge of Salesforce platform capabilities and architectural principles.
• Proficient in system integration, API design, data migration, and enterprise applications.
• Experience in leading technical teams and providing architectural governance.
• Strong understanding of cloud computing, security, and best practices in application development.
• Exceptional communication, presentation, and stakeholder management abilities.
• Capability to obtain and maintain any necessary federal background investigation.
• Experience in supporting federal healthcare or health IT initiatives.
• Familiarity with large-scale digital transformation or modernization programs.
• Salesforce Certified Application Architect.
• Salesforce Certified System Architect.
• Salesforce Certified Technical Architect (CTA) is highly preferred.
• Experience in regulated environments requiring security and compliance oversight.
• Experience with enterprise cloud platforms and integration frameworks.
• Must be able to secure and maintain any required federal background investigation or VA clearance.
