This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Collaborate directly with the project team and business stakeholders.
• Monitor the enterprise portfolio and guide project teams in establishing a uniform architecture across the Salesforce platform.
• Oversee the design, development, and implementation of scalable Salesforce solutions encompassing Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, and bespoke applications.
• Outline, document, and create a roadmap for current and future states, while addressing technical challenges within areas of responsibility.
• Mentor development teams, offering technical support and ensuring quality assurance throughout all phases of the project.
• Specify and record architectural designs, construction plans, release strategies, and technical specifications.
• Manage integrations with upstream and downstream systems as well as third-party services.
• Guarantee adherence to data governance policies during the implementation stages.
• Direct the planning, assessment, and selection of technology solutions, tools, and integration approaches.
• Assist project teams in designing architectures that are consistent with platforms, roadmaps, and standards.
• Supervise systems to ensure they fulfill user needs and align with business objectives.
• Lead change control processes, documentation initiatives, and compliance enforcement activities.
• A minimum of 8 years of experience as a Salesforce Developer/Architect.
• Preferred certifications include Salesforce Admin, Sr. Admin, Developer, Platform, and Application Architect.
• Familiarity with database design concepts, middleware principles, and user interface development.
• Experience with third-party integrations and widely-used AppExchange offerings.
• Knowledge of custom development concepts, including flows, Apex, triggers, and web services.
• Proficiency in Apex, VisualForce, Lightning Components, Force.com IDE, SFDC APIs, SOSL, SOQL, SOAP or REST-based web services, SQL, XML, JSON, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Experience with development frameworks and libraries, such as the Lightning Component Framework, Salesforce Lightning Design System, and jQuery, or their equivalents.
• Competent in Salesforce tools, DevOps practices, and contemporary development frameworks.
• Ability to sit for extended periods while working at a desk and on a computer.
