This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom, +2 more countries.
• Design, create, test, and implement custom Salesforce solutions.
• Establish and maintain integrations between Salesforce and external systems.
• Convert business needs into scalable technical solutions in collaboration with administrators and stakeholders.
• Develop and manage automated flows, triggers, batch jobs, and scheduled processes.
• Conduct code evaluations, ensuring that solutions are efficient, secure, and easy to maintain.
• Assist in release management, which includes version control, sandbox administration, and deployment via Salesforce DX and CI/CD pipelines.
• Take part in architectural assessments and contribute to platform strategy and roadmap development.
• Diagnose, debug, and resolve technical challenges within the Salesforce organization.
• Create technical documentation, such as design specifications, data flow diagrams, and runbooks.
• Guide junior developers and administrators while promoting best practices.
• Work collaboratively with Salesforce Administrators, Sales Operations, business stakeholders, and technical teams.
• Influence architectural decisions and help shape the evolution of the Salesforce platform.
• Proven experience in designing, developing, testing, and deploying custom Salesforce solutions utilizing Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and Visualforce.
• Proficient in building and maintaining integrations between Salesforce and third-party systems using REST/SOAP APIs, middleware platforms, and event-driven architectures.
• Experience in translating business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
• Skilled in developing and maintaining automated flows, triggers, batch jobs, and scheduled processes.
• Proven experience in conducting code reviews and maintaining development standards.
• Knowledgeable in release management, version control, sandbox management, Salesforce DX, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience participating in architectural reviews and contributing to platform strategy and roadmap planning.
• Expertise in troubleshooting and debugging Salesforce-related technical issues.
• Proficient in producing technical documentation, including design specifications, data flow diagrams, and runbooks.
• Experience mentoring junior developers and administrators.
• Salesforce Platform Developer II, Application Architect, or System Architect certification is preferred.
• Experience in Marketing Cloud development (AMPscript, SSJS, APIs) is preferred.
• Familiarity with MuleSoft or other integration platforms is preferred.
