Senior Salesforce Consultant – Patient Services

• Design system and data architectures for intricate pharmaceutical grant processes, including proposal calls, sponsor evaluations, clinical trial funding, and compliance tracking post-award.

• Develop solution blueprints for grant eligibility, document management, contract lifecycle management, and audit trails for compliance reporting.

• Create business applications serving healthcare and life sciences clients.

• Foster relationships with customer sponsors and stakeholders to uncover future opportunities and expand an industry network.

• Stay updated on challenges, trends, market conditions, regulatory requirements, and the competitive landscape within pharmaceutical grants.

• Lead comprehensive customer requirements-gathering sessions and document detailed requirements with the delivery team.

• Determine solution architectures, including Salesforce components, data and application integrations, and selection of third-party tools.

• Guide configuration specialists and business analysts in the creation and documentation of solutions.

• Facilitate design reviews with customers to refine and enhance solution designs.

• Engage in customer training sessions and implementation projects.

• Incorporate AI into daily tasks, such as document summarization, workflow automation, and insight extraction.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive expertise in the pharmaceutical sector, clinical trial sponsorships, or compliance within healthcare/life sciences.

• Experience in designing solutions for global pharmaceutical companies, government-funded research initiatives, or contract research organizations.

• Minimum of 3+ years specializing in Salesforce architecture within life sciences or pharmaceutical entities.

• Proficient in designing scalable Salesforce solutions that address pharmaceutical business requirements and facilitate data integration.

• Over 5 years of experience documenting current business processes, identifying gaps and areas for improvement, simplifying complex workflows, and recommending future process and system designs.

• Capability to design and configure scalable solutions that align with client business objectives.

• Proven experience leading functional and technical teams through complete Salesforce project lifecycles.

• Strong skills in defining business requirements, drafting user stories, and providing thorough Salesforce system and functional designs.

• Ability to educate and collaborate with business analysts and configuration specialists to develop solutions, document requirements, and manage portions of the build.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills across teams.

• Professional background in life sciences consulting, preferably within the pharmaceutical sector, with experience in Commercial Operations, Medical, or Patient Services projects.

• Experience collaborating with IT infrastructure teams and designing integrations, including email, SMS, telephony, and master data management.

• Salesforce Platform App Builder certification.

• Salesforce Platform Administrator II certification.

• Familiarity with pharmaceutical transparency, grant reporting standards, AppExchange grants-management tools, and Veeva or other industry platforms.

• Salesforce Certified Agentforce Specialist.

• Salesforce Certified Data Cloud Consultant.
