Senior Salesforce Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Facilitate discovery sessions with clients to collect requirements, evaluate current processes, and design future workflows.

• Develop user stories complete with acceptance criteria and document solution designs.

• Lead client refinement meetings during various phases of project development.

• Act as a liaison between the project team and the clients.

• Configure Salesforce and create declarative automation, primarily using Flows.

• Manage client expectations effectively throughout the project lifecycle.

• Write and execute QA test scripts in the absence of a dedicated QA resource.

• Convert QA scripts into UAT scripts and assist clients during their testing phases.

• Conduct smoke tests for deployments in both sandboxes and production environments.

• Lead training sessions for system administrators and end users.

• Develop supporting documentation.

• Offer internal expertise on nonprofit processes such as fundraising, grantmaking, event management, and volunteer management.

• Provide mentorship to junior consultants and business analysts as required.

• Assist with pre-sales scoping and discovery as needed.

• Contribute to the fully virtual team culture at Agile Cloud Consulting.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of relevant experience, including more than 4 years of Salesforce consulting experience with a proven track record in project delivery.

• Minimum of 2 years of experience with or supporting nonprofit organizations, possessing in-depth knowledge of nonprofit business processes.

• Proficient in requirements gathering, process mapping, and business analysis.

• Excellent communication and client management skills, including the capacity to manage client expectations and lead productive working sessions.

• Practical Salesforce configuration experience: including custom objects and fields, page layouts and Lightning pages, quick actions, list views, reports and dashboards, as well as configuration of AppExchange products.

• Experience in declarative development with Flow, Validation Rules, and Approval Processes.

• Familiarity with the Salesforce security model: profiles, permission sets, roles, org-wide defaults, and sharing rules.

• Background in writing test plans and test scripts, guiding clients through user acceptance testing.

• Openness to using AI to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

• Ability to thrive in a team-oriented environment with minimal supervision.

• Preferred experience with Salesforce Nonprofit Cloud.

• Valuable experience with the Nonprofit Success Pack (NPSP).

• Additional experience with Experience Cloud and Data Loader is advantageous.

• Experience working with higher education institutions is a plus.

• Salesforce certifications are beneficial, particularly in Platform Administrator, Platform App Builder, Business Analyst, Agentforce Nonprofit Consultant, Nonprofit Success Pack Consultant, and Experience Cloud Consultant.

• Authorization to work in the United States is required.
