This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Take charge of the daily health, configuration, and advancement of Fleetio's Salesforce platform.
• Convert stakeholder demands into scalable, best-practice solutions.
• Develop and manage Salesforce configurations, including Flow, validation rules, approval processes, assignment rules, custom objects and fields, record types, page layouts, dynamic forms, Lightning pages, apps, actions, mobile administration, custom settings, reports, and dashboards.
• Oversee user and license management, including setup and deactivation, roles, profiles, permission sets, public groups, organization-wide defaults, and sharing rules.
• Enhance Salesforce data quality through duplicate and validation rules, automation, and routine data audits.
• Administer Salesforce-connected GTM applications like Workato, Outreach, Gong, Marketo, ZoomInfo, and more.
• Troubleshoot sync issues, support users and licenses, escalate to vendors, and ensure integration health.
• Act as an escalation point for complex Salesforce support issues involving Flow, automation, integrations, and data.
• Conduct platform maintenance tasks including release readiness, security and permission audits, Health Check and Optimizer remediation, technical debt cleanup, and the retirement of unused configurations.
• Identify underutilized Salesforce features and suggest native alternatives to manual processes or third-party tools.
• Contribute to the platform roadmap by assessing requests, highlighting trade-offs, and identifying downstream costs.
• Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to integrate product data into Salesforce for reporting and automation.
• Promote user adoption through training, enabling materials, and communication regarding platform updates.
• Maintain technical documentation.
• Report to the Salesforce Team Lead within the GTM Systems & Marketing Operations function.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, and Finance.
• 5+ years of practical Salesforce administration experience, including extensive time in Sales Cloud.
• Salesforce Certified Administrator is required.
• Advanced Administrator and/or Platform App Builder certification is highly preferred.
• Strong declarative expertise, with Flow as the primary tool and a solid understanding of when to use Apex.
• Working knowledge of Salesforce security and sharing architecture: roles, profiles, permission sets, organization-wide defaults, sharing rules, and field-level security.
• Hands-on experience with Salesforce data management using Data Loader or similar tools, including bulk imports, upserts, deduplication, mass updates, and migrations.
• Proficient in writing SOQL and creating reports.
• Familiarity with Salesforce APIs, connected applications, and integration users.
• Ability to diagnose common sync failure patterns.
• Experience with release management and DevOps practices in a multi-sandbox environment, including User Acceptance Testing, regression testing, release validation, and source-driven deployment tools like Gearset.
• Background in a revenue or GTM systems environment supporting Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, and/or Partner teams.
• Strong skills in requirements gathering and stakeholder communication, including the ability to explain design trade-offs to non-technical audiences.
• Demonstrated judgment in change management and governance.
• Capability to read Apex and comprehend triggers is an advantage; however, writing it is not necessary.
• Experience with Service Cloud and Experience Cloud/Partner Community is a significant plus.
• Familiarity with iPaaS solutions such as Workato is a plus.
