Salesforce Administrator – Contract Role

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado.

📋 Description

• Configure and oversee Salesforce functionalities, such as custom objects, advanced flows, and validation rules.

• Sustain and enhance Salesforce business-process best practices.

• Implement data governance principles and uphold scalable information architectures.

• Create and maintain reports and dashboards.

• Administer user access, security, login and activity logs, profiles, permissions, and user deactivation.

• Conduct data cleanup and manipulation utilizing Data Loader or third-party applications.

• Execute changes via a deployment pipeline instead of directly in production.

• Offer first-line Salesforce support, troubleshoot issues, and resolve inquiries through to completion.

• Leverage AI assistants for impact analysis and issue investigation.

• Evaluate Salesforce configuration, capabilities, and release updates for their business impact.

• Facilitate employee onboarding, Salesforce training, and user adoption.

• Assess and promote the adoption of technologies, processes, and procedures that enhance Salesforce efficiency.

• Document system configurations, processes, and procedures.

• Assist with special assignments and strategic initiatives.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 4 years of Salesforce experience, encompassing configuration and support of Sales Cloud and Salesforce Experience Cloud.

• Solid understanding of Salesforce administration, including user management, security settings, and data management.

• Practical experience with Salesforce Flow.

• Proficiency in Salesforce reports and dashboards.

• Hands-on experience utilizing AI assistants in technical tasks.

• Experience in training and onboarding new Salesforce users.

• Ability to collaborate with stakeholders to implement features through configuration, development, or technology evaluations.

• Strong communication skills and capability to document processes clearly.

• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues.

• Self-driven team player with outstanding organizational skills.

• Familiarity with Agile principles and practices, and a desire to work in a fully Agile team.

• Must reside in the United States.

• Preferred: Salesforce Administrator Certification, Advanced Administrator Certification, Platform App Builder, SAFe Agilist Certification, Salesforce development tools and techniques, version-controlled deployment, and integrations with Marketo, Tableau, Intercom, or PandaDoc.

• Independent contractor (1099) arrangement.
