Senior Sales Representative, Acute Care and Monitoring

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Iowa, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Promote a portfolio of capital and consumable products aimed at addressing respiratory surgical complications.

• Drive sales that generate revenue to key hospital personnel and end customers.

• Accurately forecast business within the territory for monthly, quarterly, and annual projections.

• Provide precise territory forecasts to the Regional Business Manager.

• Identify, qualify, prepare, and implement effective sales strategies.

• Sustain existing business and capitalize on competitive and revenue-growth opportunities.

• Develop and finalize product sales inquiries and leads from current customers.

• Collaborate with the regionally aligned field sales team to enhance incremental RMS revenue and meet sales targets.

• Negotiate, close, and manage profitable agreements.

• Update sales tools, analyze business trends, formulate call strategies, and oversee territory and strategic business plans.

• Present strategic messaging at trade shows, presentations, and board meetings.

• Offer consultation on product features and benefits, value messaging, and clinical support.

• Lead local coordination of clinical evaluations and pre-sales assistance.

• Conduct post-sales implementation, product education, in-servicing, and ongoing support.

• Build and maintain customer relationships and support customer initiatives.

• Maintain comprehensive knowledge of related products, applications, programs, and value-added offerings.

• Efficiently utilize Specialist and Clinical resources to optimize the sales process.

• Inform the Regional Business Manager and local team of new account opportunities.

• Complete assigned projects and administrative tasks punctually.


⛳️ Requirements

• High School Diploma (or equivalent) with 8+ years of relevant sales, clinical, or related experience in medical devices, med tech, healthcare, or life sciences; Associate’s Degree with 6+ years; or Bachelor’s Degree with 4+ years.

• Must reside in Nebraska or Iowa.

• A valid driver's license is required.

• Unrestricted U.S. work authorization must be obtained at the time of hire and maintained throughout employment.

• 7+ years of sales experience with a Bachelor's degree.

• 3+ years of documented sales success (meeting quota) in medical capital equipment and/or consumables.

• 3+ years of experience in a team selling environment.

• Familiarity with selling to the acute care hospital operating room environment.

• Capable of swiftly compiling contracts with a solid financial business case.

• Proven ability to excel in complex sales and clinical settings.

• Strong proficiency in computer applications and business software.

• Comprehensive understanding of the sales process.

• Insight into the medical sales sector.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with strong client interaction capabilities.

• For degrees obtained outside the United States, a degree must meet the criteria of 8 C.F.R. § 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A).

• Ability to travel to multiple accounts across Iowa and Nebraska.

• Consistently adhere to all Vendor Credentialing requirements.
