This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Iowa, +1 more state.
• Promote a portfolio of capital and consumable products aimed at addressing respiratory surgical complications.
• Drive sales that generate revenue by engaging with key hospital personnel, C-suite stakeholders, and end customers.
• Forecast business performance and manage customer relationships.
• Identify and target the product needs of customers.
• Develop and implement sales strategies for the territory.
• Lead the development of territory opportunities and provide monthly, quarterly, and annual forecasts.
• Identify, qualify, and execute sales strategies to maintain current business and capitalize on growth opportunities.
• Generate and close product sales inquiries and leads.
• Collaborate with regional field sales teams to drive additional revenue and achieve sales targets.
• Develop, negotiate, finalize, and manage profitable agreements.
• Maintain sales tools, calling strategies, territory plans, and strategic business plans.
• Deliver strategic messaging at trade shows, presentations, and board meetings.
• Provide support regarding product features, benefits, value, and clinical information.
• Lead the coordination of clinical evaluations and offer pre-sales support.
• Conduct product education, implementation, in-servicing, and continuous post-sales support.
• Foster customer relationships and stay informed about customer initiatives.
• Maintain knowledge of relevant products, applications, programs, and value-added services.
• Efficiently utilize specialist and clinical resources to enhance the sales process.
• Notify the Regional Business Manager and local team about new account opportunities.
• Complete assigned projects and administrative responsibilities.
• Adhere to Vendor Credentialing requirements.
• High School Diploma (or equivalent) with 8+ years of relevant experience, or an Associate’s Degree with 6+ years, or a Bachelor’s Degree with 4+ years of experience in medical devices, med tech, healthcare, or life sciences.
• Must reside in Nebraska or Iowa.
• Valid driver's license is required.
• 3+ years of proven sales success in medical capital equipment and/or consumables.
• 3+ years of experience in a team selling environment.
• Experience selling within the acute care hospital operating room setting.
• Ability to quickly compile contracts with supporting financial business cases.
• Demonstrated success in complex sales and clinical environments.
• Strong computer skills and proficiency in business applications.
• Comprehensive understanding of the sales process.
• Knowledge of the medical sales field.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, along with outstanding client interaction abilities.
• For degrees obtained outside the United States, a degree meeting 8 C.F.R. § 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A) is required.
