This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Take ownership and manage recurring incentive payouts, encompassing commissions, bonuses, and SPIFs, for field sales positions.
• Assist in the implementation of the incentive compensation management platform by documenting requirements, building and testing calculations, conducting parallel cycles, and providing support during the go-live phase.
• Act as the primary point of contact for inquiries from field sales and for resolving pay disputes.
• Prepare, reconcile, and verify sales results, quotas, territory assignments, and roster updates.
• Reconcile payouts with source data and previous periods, investigate discrepancies, and maintain documented controls for Finance and audit purposes.
• Lead the testing, validation, parallel runs, and ongoing management of incentive compensation tools.
• Generate attainment, payout, and plan cost reports for sales leadership, Finance, and HR, which includes accrual and forecasting assistance.
• Maintain documentation for plan mechanics, calculation processes, exception management, plan documents, and acknowledgments.
• Collaborate on plan design analysis, cost modeling, payout curve and threshold assessments, and what-if scenario planning.
• Identify and implement process improvements that decrease manual effort, reduce cycle times, and enhance controls.
• Provide support for territory and quota planning analytics.
• A minimum of five years of analytical experience, with at least three years focused on incentive compensation, sales compensation, or commissions.
• At least two years of practical experience using an incentive compensation management platform such as CaptivateIQ, Xactly, Varicent, Everstage, Spiff, or SAP Commissions.
• A bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, business, mathematics, statistics, or a related quantitative discipline, or equivalent relevant experience in compensation, finance, or sales operations.
• Proficient Excel skills, including XLOOKUP, INDEX and MATCH, SUMIFS, pivot tables, structured tables, and the ability to build auditable models.
• Strong attention to detail and the capability to reconcile large datasets to a zero-variance standard.
• Ability to clearly explain calculations and plan mechanics to non-technical audiences, including senior sales leadership.
• Good judgment and discretion in managing confidential compensation data.
• Capability to oversee a deadline-driven calculation cycle from start to finish and prioritize competing requests with minimal supervision.
