This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee the global monthly S&OP process, which includes Demand Review, Supply Review, and support for Executive S&OP.
• Collaborate with Clinical, Commercial, Finance, Quality, Regulatory, and Manufacturing teams to create a cohesive operating plan.
• Develop and sustain consensus demand plans for both clinical and commercial products.
• Create executive S&OP materials, outline decisions and recommendations, and monitor action items to ensure completion.
• Manage comprehensive supply models throughout the cell therapy value chain, encompassing MCB, plasmids, LVV, apheresis, DP, product control, and reference standards.
• Direct long-term requirements modeling for essential starting materials.
• Convert patient demand into requirements for apheresis collection and drug product manufacturing slots.
• Guarantee that supply plans facilitate release testing, stability programs, and comparability studies.
• Identify, assess, and escalate supply constraints and regulatory dependencies.
• Work alongside Supplier Management and CDMOs on forecasts, slot offers, and capacity planning.
• Spearhead scenario planning regarding supply, inventory, and capacity risks while proposing network design modifications.
• Supervise the execution of inventory strategies, which includes reconciliation, shelf-life and expiry management, and reducing excess and obsolete write-offs.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of supply planning and inventory professionals.
• Execute additional responsibilities as assigned.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent (preferred fields include Engineering, Supply Chain, or Business Management/Sciences); an advanced degree (MBA or MS) is advantageous.
• 7-10 years of progressive experience in supply chain, covering demand planning, supply planning, and/or S&OP.
• Ideal candidates will have relevant experience in autologous cell & gene therapy.
• Proven experience in people leadership.
• Capability to facilitate discussions at the executive level, distill complex data into clear recommendations, and influence stakeholders across functions.
• Familiarity with ERP systems (NetSuite preferred) and planning tools, along with advanced Excel proficiency.
• Experience with BI/visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau is a plus.
• APICS (CPIM/CSCP) or similar certification is preferred.
• Knowledge of regulatory frameworks such as FDA and EMA, along with GMP manufacturing and storage requirements.
