This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Establish and nurture customer relationships for the Steam Power Fossil Services portfolio within the designated region.
• Meet order expectations effectively.
• Create tailored strategies specific to each customer.
• Sustain current customer relationships and enhance those that are weaker.
• Ensure high standards of data quality and accuracy for the portfolio.
• Position GE Vernova as a “Trusted Advisor.”
• Formulate long-term strategic plans for each customer to enhance market presence and customer engagement.
• Maintain continuous customer relationships to guarantee satisfaction.
• Manage a sales pipeline for intricate, multi-offering transactions that include Parts, Repairs, Outage Services, Performance Upgrades, and Long Term Service / Parts Agreements.
• Create and uphold detailed Account Plans featuring essential customer insights.
• Oversee and drive the development of regional opportunity pipelines.
• Develop and implement proposal strategies that align with customer requirements and GEV business objectives.
• Keep project and opportunity information updated and accurate in NEX.
• Provide demand forecasting and pacing support to Sales Operations and Finance.
• Collaborate with Marketing and Product Line to communicate GEV product offerings through LinkedIn posts.
• Travel as necessary to foster or establish customer relationships and further business development.
• A Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related technical field, or a High School Diploma/GED accompanied by over 10 years of experience in the Power Generation industry, particularly in Steam Turbine and Generator technology.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in Marketing, Sales, Project Management, or Customer Service within the Power Generation sector.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Capability to manage and influence within a matrix environment.
• Strong interpersonal and leadership abilities.
• Effective time management skills and the capacity to work across various functions.
• Ability to work autonomously and demonstrate self-motivation.
• Business acumen and analytical skills.
• Willingness to travel approximately 50% of the time, or as required.
• Authorized to work legally in the United States.
