This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Formulate and execute extensive sales strategies that align with the objectives of the company.
• Analyze market trends, opportunities, and risks to guide sales tactics.
• Inspire, mentor, and lead the sales team to achieve their targets.
• Attract, nurture, coach, and retain top talent.
• Promote the Vernova Way within the sales division.
• Manage and implement operational plans that encompass commitments, orders, convertibility, cash flow, price expansion, and contribution margins.
• Oversee GE Vernova's risk management.
• Conduct portfolio, account, and market evaluations.
• Assess the installed base to pinpoint outage opportunities, commercial involvement, resource sufficiency, and competitive dynamics.
• Lead deal teams from strategy formulation to successful proposal submission.
• Build enduring customer relationships aimed at collective success.
• Gain insights into customers’ markets, business structures, organizations, decision-making procedures, and key drivers.
• Ensure customer satisfaction and facilitate issue resolution in conjunction with OTR peers.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives utilizing Lean tools and methodologies.
• Enhance sales processes for quality and timely delivery of commercial products and services.
• Supervise account team activities to guarantee customer satisfaction, issue resolution, and responsiveness.
• Utilize customer networks and insights to benefit other GE Vernova business units.
• Supply forecasts to fulfillment teams via the SIOP process.
• Map customer outages, KPIs, and priorities, updating internal systems accordingly.
• Provide constructive feedback to Product and Business Lines regarding product enhancements, service capabilities, resource adequacy, and commercial innovation.
• Collaborate with Business Intelligence to improve market intelligence, competitive analysis, and win/loss evaluations.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related technical field from an accredited institution or equivalent knowledge/experience.
• A minimum of 10 years of experience in the Power Generation sector with technical expertise in power plant equipment such as gas turbines, steam turbines, or generators.
• At least 5 years of experience in commercial, marketing, or operational roles, preferably within the gas industry.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience leading or managing seasoned industry professionals.
• Willingness and capability to travel up to 50% of the time or more as required.
• Relocation may be necessary within the USA.
• Sponsorship is not available.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Successful completion of a drug screening, if applicable.
• Familiarity with lean principles, standard work methodologies, sales and opportunity management tools, and Profit & Loss (P&L) management.
• Excellent presentation and negotiation abilities.
• Strong and effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to engage with all organizational levels.
• Experience in strategic, commercial, and operational leadership.
• Proven ability to work collaboratively across functions and drive continuous improvements.
