This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Drive profitable growth by enhancing planning, forecasting, gross margin, and market share delivery throughout the national UNFI footprint.
• Formulate business strategies aimed at fostering growth and facilitating cross-functional value within the customer team.
• Lead the execution of both new and established routines and rituals for the National Sales Team.
• Oversee comprehensive business plans in collaboration with UNFI Category Management Partners.
• Engage with the customer at all levels to gain insights into their business, marketplace, and strategic direction.
• Meet New Item Authorization targets and core business goals, which include distribution, revenue, share growth, and optimal shelving implementation.
• Reach promotional revenue targets by leveraging tactics, price points, drive periods, and sales events while applying Kraft Heinz pricing strategies.
• Work in partnership with internal teams, UNFI partners, and retail associates to align with assigned category objectives.
• Manage volume forecasting in coordination with the National Planning team.
• Act as the UNFI National Plan Lead for specific categories for regional Retailer CSMs.
• Maintain accurate files and business documentation that record business transactions.
• Innovate, advocate, and execute new operational methods and process enhancements across the UNFI team.
• Strong financial acumen, intellectual curiosity, and advanced analytical capabilities.
• Experience in utilizing syndicated and other data sources to construct category and brand insights, recommendations, and business plans.
• Ability to influence customer decisions to fulfill category goals.
• Exceptional attention to detail, especially under tight deadlines.
• Capacity to work independently within a CBT framework to plan, organize, and set/achieve priorities.
• Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
• Proficient in negotiation and effective influence.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Advanced skills in Excel.
• Knowledgeable and quick to learn new systems such as IRI and Spark.
