This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Maintain and expand the current account base while acquiring new clients within the designated territory.
• Oversee around 800 accounts in firms with 1–10 attorneys.
• Connect and collaborate with customers both through phone and in-person interactions to foster trust and create mutually beneficial solutions.
• Recognize additional sales prospects and navigate through customer organizational structures.
• Prioritize territory responsibilities, renewal prospects, and sales opportunities.
• Establish trust and credibility with customer users, contacts, managers, and executives.
• Work together with internal team members to accomplish shared goals.
• Maintain an in-depth understanding of Thomson Reuters products, the legal field, and the legal publishing sector.
• Meet monthly sales and renewal objectives through client visits and phone engagements.
• Present Small Law products to clients.
• Collect and share market intelligence and penetration data for the territory.
• Address customer-related concerns, including collections and complaints.
• Submit weekly sales performance reports and updates via Salesforce.com.
• Participate in sales meetings and conventions as required.
• A minimum of 5 years of successful sales experience, encompassing both telephone and field sales.
• Solid understanding of sales concepts, methods, and techniques.
• Driven self-starter with high levels of energy and motivation.
• Exceptional communication and closing abilities.
• Strong time management skills.
• Capability to maintain a realistically positive outlook in sales scenarios.
• Ability to work from a home office and travel to client sites as necessary.
• Competent in database management.
• Preferred: A 4-year college degree or equivalent experience; a Juris Doctor (JD) is advantageous.
• Experience in SaaS sales is a plus.
• Familiarity with the legal industry is highly beneficial.
