This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Deliver technical engineered solutions guidance for conversions, modifications, upgrades, and rerates throughout North America.
• Support initiatives related to steam turbines, centrifugal compressors, axial compressors, expanders, and custom pumps for both Elliott and non-Elliott fleets.
• Collaborate with the Global Director and Region Sales Leader to formulate strategic and tactical plans.
• Advocate for customers, focusing on operational excellence, timely delivery, and quality assurance.
• Achieve or surpass regional booking objectives.
• Foster enthusiasm for Engineered Solutions within the internal sales team.
• Cultivate and expand opportunities pipelines for both Elliott and non-Elliott equipment.
• Drive proactive development of customer relationships, pipeline growth, and order generation.
• Analyze regional markets, trends, and Engineered Solutions offerings, providing informed recommendations.
• Identify key trends and formulate strategic plans accordingly.
• Offer guidance and technical insights to Applications Engineering to facilitate order closure.
• Oversee the interests of the Engineered Solutions business during regional execution activities.
• Monitor the margin between sold amounts and actual margins.
• Ensure competitive market-based pricing, costs, lead times, and margins for regional opportunities.
• Undertake special projects as assigned.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Global Service Sales to identify modification opportunities.
• Establish strategic relationships at corporate, EPC, PL, and plant levels.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering is required.
• Specialized training in technical sales, application engineering, accounting, and change methodologies.
• At least 6 years of experience in an engineered-to-order product manufacturing environment.
• Previous experience with turbomachinery and rotating equipment is essential.
• Extensive functional understanding of the entire order execution process acquired through direct on-the-job experience.
• Familiarity with state and regional government regulations and compliance standards, including ISO 9000, 14000, and 18000 regulations.
• Strong commitment to local compliance and adherence to best-practice quality and inspection standards.
• Proven ability to integrate broadly defined objectives into functional goals and measurable metrics.
• Demonstrated skills in logistics, analysis, and problem-solving.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities, including conflict resolution skills.
• Experience in negotiations, customer engagement, and understanding organizational dynamics.
