This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee the technical aspects of commercial negotiations and gather as well as analyze project documentation.
• Partner with sales teams and subject-matter experts to craft and present product and service proposals for client RFPs/RFQs.
• Ensure alignment on project scope, identify discrepancies, and coordinate roadmap commitments between Sales and Product teams.
• Manage product databases, pricing details, and product availability through engagement with vendors.
• Develop proposed solution architectures encompassing plant networks, plant control, data acquisition, system integrations, substation protection, and remote platforms.
• Input customer and project details into the CRM, managing templates and document storage.
• Deliver customized sales presentations focused on audience outcomes, pain points, and the value of solutions.
• Represent Power Factors at industry conferences and trade exhibitions.
• Organize and conduct project hand-off meetings with Engineering and Customer Success teams.
• Address complex challenges and navigate competing priorities utilizing both interpersonal and technical skills.
• Contribute to improving processes and documentation.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline, such as Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering.
• A minimum of five years of pertinent experience in technical product/project management, estimation, and IT/networking within the renewable and storage sectors.
• Proficiency in Operational Technology, including SCADA and automation systems.
• Capability to interpret networking, data flows, and electrical schematics.
• Familiar with CAD, SketchUp, Visio, or other design tools, with experience in drafting diagrams.
• Demonstrated success in high-paced environments with the ability to juggle multiple priorities.
• Fluent in English with strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Technical mindset with the ability to manage both details and overarching concepts.
• Proficient in engaging relevant organizational audiences with suitable messaging and detail.
• Experience working independently as an individual contributor and as a project coordinator.
• Ability to develop solutions and resolve issues using logical and innovative approaches.
• Process-oriented with a proven track record in managing resource conflicts.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Preferred: experience with and configuration of DAS/SCADA systems.
• Preferred: familiarity with electric industry communication protocols such as Modbus, DNP3, IEC60870-5-104/101, and IEC61850.
• Preferred: experience in technical writing, marketing, and responding to RFPs.
• Preferred: experience with Salesforce or similar CRM/ERP systems.
