Senior Sales Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of the complete technical sales process, encompassing demo, proof of concept (POC), and achieving technical success.

• Collaborate with the Sales team to design and implement technical strategies for closing deals.

• Conduct customized demonstrations and proof-of-value sessions.

• Work in close partnership with customer security and engineering teams to gain insights into their workflows.

• Effectively position OX within DevSecOps and Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) environments.

• Serve as a liaison between customers and the internal Product & Engineering teams.

• Offer technical advice, architecture suggestions, and comprehensive documentation.

• Assist in deals by validating technical aspects and addressing objections.

• Represent OX at customer meetings, events, and conferences, which may involve travel.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in Solutions Engineering, Sales Engineering, or Technical Pre-Sales.

• A background in cybersecurity is a significant advantage.

• Strong grasp of the software development lifecycle (SDLC).

• Demonstrated ability to support and lead complex technical sales processes.

• Excellent communication skills, capable of engaging both technical teams and executive leadership.

• A sales-oriented mindset that is proactive, innovative, and solution-focused.

• Ability to address technical objections and cultivate trust with customers.

• Comfortable in a dynamic, startup environment.

• Experience in Application Security, DevSecOps, or software supply chain security is a plus.

• A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent hands-on development experience is a bonus.

• Experience working with enterprise-level customers is a bonus.

• Proficiency in an additional European language, with German being highly preferred, is a bonus.
