This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.
• Drive new customer acquisition and expansion opportunities by effectively communicating Cohesity’s Data Cloud portfolio—encompassing backup, recovery, cyber resilience, and data security management capabilities to both business and technical audiences.
• Deliver expert and customized technical support throughout the sales process, including discovery, solution design, demonstrations, and proofs of concept.
• Collaborate with the Account Executive to support the technical strategy for enterprise opportunities, aiding in deal progression and win strategies.
• Facilitate the integration of Cohesity products into existing production environments while responding to technical inquiries promptly and professionally.
• Lead and assist in technical engagements such as product demonstrations, workshops, white papers, proposals, and evaluations.
• Identify customer requirements and areas of risk, assisting in shaping proofs of concept that emphasize Cohesity’s value in cyber resilience and data security.
• Aid in competitive displacement discussions by understanding customer environments and effectively positioning Cohesity.
• Work cross-functionally with Product Management, Engineering, and Support to communicate customer feedback and contribute to product enhancements.
• Offer post-sales technical assistance or project support as necessary to ensure successful results and customer satisfaction.
• Demonstrated experience in pre-sales Sales Engineering or Solutions Consulting related to infrastructure, data protection, security, or cloud platforms within enterprise settings.
• Practical experience with backup, recovery, data protection, storage, or cyber resilience technologies across on-premises, hybrid, and cloud architectures.
• Strong understanding of data security principles, including ransomware resilience, immutable storage, encryption, and access controls.
• Familiarity with competitive technologies and a keen interest in developing competitive positioning skills.
• Experience in supporting proofs of concept, evaluations, and technical decision-making processes.
• Capability to translate technical architecture into clear customer value and business outcomes.
• Experience partnering with Account Executives to navigate complex, multi-stakeholder sales processes.
• Proven ability to leverage AI tools to enhance productivity, streamline workflows, and support decision-making.
• Understanding of enterprise purchasing processes and deal dynamics.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of articulating technical concepts to both business and technical audiences.
• A collaborative mindset with the ability to professionally and confidently manage complex customer situations.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or equivalent practical experience.
• Industry certifications in cloud, data, or related technologies are advantageous.
• Proficiency in English (ability to engage fluently in speaking, reading, and writing in a professional context).
