This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Collaborate with the Senior Manager of Sales Compensation on the administration, design modeling, and operational execution of global sales incentive plans.
• Lead the comprehensive processing, validation, and calculation of monthly and quarterly variable payouts, commissions, and SPIFFs.
• Oversee the daily administration and configuration of the CaptivateIQ Sales Performance Management tool.
• Ensure precise data synchronization across various systems.
• Prepare, issue, and monitor sales compensation plan agreements, payout statements, and earnings summaries.
• Conduct audit checks on payout calculations, transaction crediting, and exception requests.
• Escalate intricate issues to the Senior Manager while upholding strong internal controls.
• Construct financial models to assess earning mechanics, payout scenarios, and budget impacts.
• Analyze historical payout trends and performance data to evaluate plan effectiveness and resolve crediting disputes or payout discrepancies.
• Act as an operational resource for Revenue, HR, Finance, and Payroll teams.
• Address employee inquiries regarding compensation plan details.
• Communicate policy interpretations, crediting adjustments, and payout calculations to stakeholders.
• Support administrative initiatives, system enhancements, and annual plan rollouts.
• Assist with employee enablement sessions on sales incentive plans, compensation rules, payout statements, and calculation logic.
• Over 5 years of progressive experience in Sales Compensation Administration or Incentive Operations.
• Extensive functional knowledge and exposure to Finance, HR, and Payroll.
• Practical expertise in supporting the administration, calculation, and validation of sales incentive plans and crediting logic.
• Hands-on experience with modern Sales Performance Management platforms and CRM systems.
• Advanced skills in Excel/Google Sheets for modeling payout scenarios and analyzing various data sets.
• Strong understanding of key business drivers, SaaS/B2B revenue models, and sales team structures.
• Proven capability to resolve complex administrative and operational issues through sound analytical judgment.
• Ability to clearly explain complex or sensitive financial and operational details, build consensus across teams, and guide colleagues.
• Capacity to work independently with minimal daily oversight while maintaining a collaborative relationship with the Senior Manager.
• Curiosity and eagerness to leverage emerging AI tools to enhance data insights and optimize operational processes.
• Background checks are mandatory, which may include criminal record checks.
• Certification as a Sales Compensation Professional (CSCP) is preferred.
• Experience with CaptivateIQ and Salesforce is preferred.
