Senior SailPoint Application Administrator Lead

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Mexico.

📋 Description

• Manage and oversee all facets of the SailPoint/IAM application.

• Provide guidance to the IAM Federal Manager regarding security audits, industry best practices, emerging technologies, and IAM enterprise technology aligned with business objectives.

• Administer, install, manage, monitor, maintain, patch, tune, back up, and design for high availability of SailPoint/IAM applications.

• Act as the main technical liaison for Business Analysts, Project Managers, and Systems Administrators.

• Tailor SailPoint/IAM to fulfill IAM business needs.

• Assess system challenges and propose SailPoint/IAM solutions.

• Contribute to the IAM roadmap and the integration of ServiceNow for ITSM practices.

• Oversee testing, piloting, documentation, monitoring, and implementation planning for new services and environments.

• Resolve SailPoint/IAM issues and ancillary components, including SQL Server, Tomcat, ServiceNow, and supporting infrastructure.

• Generate status reports, project tracking, performance metrics, SLA, availability, incident, and resolution reports.

• Set and uphold team goals, supervise project completion, maintain customer relationships, conduct interviews for resources, evaluate employee performance, and manage staff-related issues.

• Direct development, maintenance, and support activities, including delegation, monitoring, and reporting on status.

• Serve as the resident SQL expert across various SQL environments.

• Implement and oversee assigned projects along with related administrative tasks.

• Develop analysis and feedback tools, schedules, work plans, management reporting tools, testing plans, meeting materials, and training plans.

• Suggest enhancements to internal processes and administrative functions.

• Assist with IT management activities encompassing strategic planning, capital planning, workforce planning, policy development, resource management, knowledge management, architecture/infrastructure planning, and auditing.

• Support directives and the design, development, documentation, and implementation of reporting systems.

• Execute other assigned responsibilities.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree (BS/BA) from an accredited four-year institution is preferred and/or a minimum of 7 years’ experience in direct supervision or 4 years’ experience in IT project management/administrative/contract support.

• At least 7 years of IAM experience managing a large environment, including Cloud.

• Proficiency in SailPoint or a comparable IAM application is essential.

• Familiarity with web technologies such as XML, SPML/SOAP, and Web Services is preferred.

• Experience with web application servers such as Tomcat, WebSphere, WebLogic, and JBOSS is preferred.

• Knowledge of PowerShell and Visual Basic Scripting is advantageous.

• Familiarity with ServiceNow is a plus.

• Certifications in ITIL V3/2011 Foundations, SailPoint Certified IdentityNow Engineer, SailPoint Certified IdentityIQ Engineer, and SailPoint Certified IdentityIQ Architect are desirable.

• SCRUM Master certification is a plus.

• Demonstrated expertise in Microsoft Windows/Office and Microsoft Project.

• Excellent customer service abilities along with strong verbal, presentation, and written communication skills.

• Must be able to obtain a public trust security clearance.
