
Senior Risk Solutions Sales Account Executive – Credit and Decisioning, Actuarial Risk, ALM, MRM

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States, +2 more locations.
• Identify new Risk Solution opportunities within major financial institutions and insurance companies throughout North America.
• Partner with field Account Executives to promote specific software, solutions, and/or services to both existing and potential clients.
• Formulate and implement the Risk Solution Sales Strategy for the designated territory to meet established targets.
• Initiate and support lead generation initiatives while integrating strategies into comprehensive account plans.
• Assess leads by evaluating business drivers and technical compatibility.
• Validate opportunities following established procedures.
• Serve as the Risk Sales Subject Matter Expert for the designated territory, clients, and prospects.
• Collaborate with internal SAS Product, Services, and SME teams to spot industry trends, new offerings, and synchronize sales strategies and campaigns.
• Comprehend the market landscape, competitors, and client needs to advance the SAS Risk Strategy for the assigned region.
• Cultivate opportunities by managing and influencing requirements to secure a competitive advantage.
• Develop and present sales proposals and system solutions that articulate the value of SAS products and services.
• Utilize pre-sales engineering resources when appropriate.
• Prepare customized quotes and proposal documentation.
• Coordinate with other departments to finalize contracts and establish service schedules.
• Facilitate the closure of complex sales transactions.
• Assist with pricing negotiations and inquiries regarding licensing.
• Transition clients to Professional Services for design and deployment following the sale.
• Monitor client satisfaction and identify additional revenue opportunities.
• Support Product Marketing and/or Research and Development with insights for future product direction.
• Adhere to relevant security policies and processes to support secure software development objectives.
• Must reside in the U.S. or Toronto, Canada.
• Legally permitted to work in the United States or Toronto, Canada.
• Must currently not require, nor will require in the future, sponsorship for employment visa status.
• Minimum of 5 years of Sales experience.
• At least 3 years dedicated to selling Risk solutions.
• Experience in selling or implementing enterprise application software solutions, including associated services.
• Capability to position the Company, its products, and services against competitors in the marketplace.
• Proactive, collaborative, and focused on customer needs.
• Willingness to travel.
• Familiarity with basic sales techniques.
• Understanding of hardware and/or software acquisition cycles and purchasing influences.
• A combination of relevant education, training, and experience may be accepted in lieu of the above qualifications.
• Preferred: experience in hunting and selling Risk products/solutions.
• Preferred: strong understanding of the Risk market space and experience in ALM, Actuarial Risk, or Enterprise Decisioning solutions.
