Senior Revenue Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States, +3 more locations.

📋 Description

• Participate in meetings to gather and document project requirements related to U.S. GAAP, emphasizing Revenue Recognition.

• Collaborate closely with the manager to comprehend operational capabilities and the feasibility of proposals.

• Conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and monitor as well as resolve any issues identified during the UAT process.

• Develop and document processes and procedures, ensuring compliance with SOX and internal controls.

• Assess accounting implications and verify operational support for modifications under ASC 606.

• Offer accounting guidance to project teams and developers.

• Assist in training initiatives and facilitate the transition to new business models and system workflows.

• Work in conjunction with Revenue Accounting, Controllership, System Integrators, Project Managers, Developers, and various stakeholders.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or equivalent practical experience.

• A minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience.

• Strong business acumen with the ability to navigate ambiguity.

• Excellent communication skills, with the capacity to interpret and present data effectively.

• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment across all organizations, as well as independently.

• Familiarity with U.S. GAAP, particularly in revenue recognition.

• CPA certification or equivalent practical experience is preferred.

• Experience with RAR, SAP, and/or Business Objects or other relevant systems is preferred.

• Proficiency in Excel is preferred.

• Previous experience in the software or SaaS industry is preferred.

• Strong quantitative, analytical, and data mining skills are preferred.

• Ability to inspire, influence, and motivate others is preferred.

• Working hours are based on the PST time zone.
