Senior Application Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee the estimation process for enhancement and support requests.

• Direct the design of workflows, configure and test system modifications, and assess technical challenges.

• Collaborate with business systems stakeholders and software vendor implementation teams.

• Cultivate an understanding of operational requirements and enhance business processes through technology.

• Engage in training sessions and assist end users.

• Resolve issues and respond to inquiries effectively.

• Offer end-user assistance via tracking systems.

• Review project and issue progress with project leadership.

• Allocate or assign configuration tasks and other responsibilities.

• Serve as a representative for the Applications Manager during incident or problem resolution.

• Guide peers and junior analysts, providing leadership in problem-solving initiatives.

• Spearhead the design and documentation of internal processes for ongoing IT improvements.

• Support and adhere to the company's Quality Management System.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, communicating effectively with project leadership, subject matter experts, and stakeholders.

• Acquire knowledge of new software applications and adapt to evolving business requirements.

• Travel approximately 5% of working time.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or a related field; or a high school diploma/general education diploma with 4 years of relevant experience in place of a Bachelor’s degree.

• More than 5 years of experience in developing or configuring technological solutions in an application analyst or project delivery capacity.

• Subject Matter Expert in one or more areas: patient identification workflows in healthcare, revenue cycle, CRM & MyChart, Patient Registration, or lab order entry.

• Must possess or have the ability to acquire relevant Epic software application certification within 8 weeks of hire.

• Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship is required.

• Proven capability to execute the Essential Duties with or without reasonable accommodation.

• Preferred: relevant certifications, particularly in Epic Referrals, Epic RTE, or Epic Prelude.

• Preferred: professional working knowledge in Healthcare or Biotechnology.

• Preferred: familiarity with agile delivery methodologies.

• Ability to work standard business hours and be available on-call, which may include nights and weekends.

• Willingness to travel approximately 5% of working time.

• Capability to lift up to 10 pounds for about 5% of a typical working day.

• Ability to work at a computer and/or type for approximately 90% of a typical working day.

• Must be able to comply with applicable personal protective equipment requirements.
