This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.
• Oversee global resource management initiatives across Veristat on an enterprise level.
• Administer short-term resource allocations, long-term capacity planning, demand forecasting, and workforce visibility.
• Collaborate with Service Lines, various functions, geographical areas, and resource management stakeholders to ensure alignment of resources with client and project requirements.
• Assess current and future capacity by utilizing project forecasts, backlog data, and sales pipeline information.
• Anticipate resource demand, identify potential gaps and risks, and facilitate timely, data-driven workforce decisions.
• Establish and promote enterprise resource management standards, reporting protocols, data quality assurance, governance, and system adoption.
• Address immediate and ad hoc resource requirements while maintaining a strategic perspective on long-term workforce planning.
• Document, implement, standardize, and enhance resource management processes, governance, planning standards, and decision-making frameworks across various functions or business sectors.
• Collaborate with and influence senior leadership on workforce practices, resource priorities, capacity challenges, and enterprise-level planning decisions.
• Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Business, Operations, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
• A minimum of 6 years of experience in resource management, capacity planning, workforce planning, project operations, or a comparable field within a Contract Research Organization (CRO), biopharmaceutical company, or professional services setting.
• At least 5 years of management experience is required.
• Proven expertise in managing resource and capacity planning in a service-oriented environment; experience supporting multiple functions, Service Lines, or geographical areas is highly preferred.
• Familiarity with clinical research and drug development operating models, project lifecycles, and the resource requirements typical of a CRO environment is preferred.
• Demonstrated capability to convert project demand, timelines, complexity, required skills, specialized role requirements, and workforce availability into effective short- and long-term resource plans and assignments.
• Experience in a deadline-focused, global environment with the ability to handle immediate and ad hoc resource demands while keeping a long-term workforce planning perspective.
• Strong analytical and data handling skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with resource planning, financial, project management, HR, or reporting systems; experience with OpenAir and NetSuite is preferred.
• Proven ability to work effectively across international, cross-functional, and matrixed teams, align stakeholders with diverse priorities, and influence decisions without direct authority.
• Outstanding communication, facilitation, negotiation, and stakeholder management abilities, with a track record of partnering with and influencing senior leaders on workforce practices, resource priorities, capacity constraints, and enterprise planning decisions.
• Exceptional follow-through, organizational skills, attention to detail, and capability to manage multiple competing priorities across the enterprise.
• Experience in documenting, implementing, standardizing, and enhancing resource management processes, governance, planning standards, and decision frameworks across various functions or business sectors.
