This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in China.
• Prepare protocols, reports, and other key project deliverables.
• Engage with clients and contribute to strategic initiatives under the guidance of senior personnel.
• Oversee scientific coordination and project management across various projects.
• Develop and execute new data collection initiatives, including retrospective, prospective, and cross-sectional studies.
• Provide scientific expertise and advice on methodological and operational aspects of project design and execution.
• Lead or coordinate the creation of protocols, analysis plans, case report forms, survey questions, and reports.
• Interact with project sponsors, physicians, clinical sites, and other pertinent contacts.
• Track project budget expenditures and manage timelines for scientific tasks and deliverables.
• Act as Principal Investigator on certain client projects, overseeing project budgets, deliverables, and timelines.
• Lead or coordinate the preparation of abstracts and manuscripts.
• Support business development by participating in proposal writing, the sales cycle, attending conferences, and delivering presentations.
• Mentor and supervise junior staff and interns as required.
• Collaborate with clinical operations, data management, biostatistics, and data analysts.
• Assist in the development of training materials and process enhancements.
• Participate in client calls and address inquiries related to assigned tasks.
• Contribute to client and project strategies under the direction of senior staff.
• PhD in epidemiology or a closely related field, or MSc with 3–5 years of relevant experience.
• Previous experience in a consultancy and/or CRO environment is highly desirable.
• Experience with new data collection (field) projects, particularly non-interventional designs, is preferred.
• Solid understanding of epidemiologic methodology.
• Proficient in MS Office software.
• Fluent in both spoken and written Mandarin Chinese.
• Capable of effectively communicating and documenting information in written English.
• Ability to create well-organized, error-free scientific reports, presentations, emails, and other written materials.
• Strong skills in organization, time management, prioritization, and decision-making.
• Quick learner with the ability to apply new information, skills, and procedures.
• Proactive and positive attitude towards tasks and projects.
• Resilient in the face of changes to processes, projects, budgets, or client requirements.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience presenting concepts to individuals and groups in formal settings.
• Ability to grasp client needs and suggest appropriate solutions.
