This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Tennessee.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities while enhancing existing relationships with companies across music, film, television, live events, and various segments of the Entertainment Industry.
• Gather referrals from current clients, professional connections, and industry networks.
• Represent Flagstar at industry events and conferences.
• Convert insights on industry trends and competition into practical strategies.
• Identify, target, and cultivate a pipeline of prospective clients.
• Collaborate with underwriting and portfolio teams on due diligence, assessments, modeling, valuations, timelines, and internal approvals to foster loan growth.
• Structure and document loans, ensuring adherence to Bank policies and regulatory standards, while pricing products within the desired rate of return.
• Work alongside product and support teams on syndications, treasury management, foreign exchange, and interest rate derivatives to deliver integrated solutions and boost revenue.
• Act as a trusted advisor to clients and provide industry thought leadership to Bank business partners.
• Undertake special projects and additional responsibilities as needed.
• Complete mandatory compliance training and uphold compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
• Bachelor’s degree (4 years or equivalent) in business, finance, or a related field.
• Over 10 years of experience as a Commercial Lending Relationship Manager and/or in commercial lending sales.
• Some background in commercial credit may substitute for production experience.
• Specialized experience in specific industries.
• Background in Investment Banking, Leveraged Finance, or Capital Markets.
• Credit training is preferred.
• In-depth knowledge of commercial lending credit, underwriting, and loan structuring.
• Strong analytical skills for financial and cash flow analysis.
• Highly developed negotiation capabilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience in implementing a calling strategy to engage prospects and clients, establishing a personally developed network.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word and Excel.
• Ability to cultivate and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders through clear communication and proactive collaboration across functions.
• Some travel may be necessary.
