This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
• Develop and implement regional sales strategies that align with national and global objectives.
• Propel revenue, market share, and profitability targets across diverse territories.
• Forecast regional trends, competitive challenges, and shifts in healthcare policy while providing actionable insights to executive leadership.
• Guide Regional Sales Directors and Oncology Account Managers, establishing succession pipelines.
• Collaborate with marketing, medical affairs, market access, and operations on strategic initiatives.
• Manage regional budgets, resource allocation, and investment decisions to optimize ROI.
• Promote integrity, accountability, and adherence to regulatory compliance.
• Discover new business opportunities, partnerships, and innovative strategies to enhance market presence.
• Represent the region in national leadership discussions and contribute to forecasting, portfolio strategy, and long-term planning.
• Ensure the execution of sales plans while balancing both strategic and tactical priorities.
• Directly oversee Oncology Account Managers.
• Lead subordinate managers, ensuring effective performance management.
• Supervise staffing, succession planning, and organizational design for regional sales teams.
• Mentor and coach senior sales leaders.
• Engage with clients in both indoor office settings and field-based environments.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field with 15 years of pertinent experience; or a Master’s degree in a related discipline with 13 years of relevant experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• At least 8 years of proven experience in oncology sales and/or marketing.
• Demonstrated success in leading large, diverse teams and consistently surpassing revenue targets.
• Strongly preferred experience in brand strategy, market access, and payer engagement.
• Proven ability to influence executive-level decision-making and contribute to national strategies.
• Exceptional visionary leadership skills.
• Advanced skills in strategic planning, forecasting, and analytics.
• In-depth expertise in oncology market dynamics, healthcare systems, and the regulatory landscape.
• Outstanding communication, negotiation, and executive presence.
• Capacity to manage complexity, ambiguity, and rapid changes with resilience.
• Strong financial acumen with experience managing multimillion-dollar budgets.
• Proficient in building cross-functional partnerships and driving organizational alignment.
• Candidate must reside in close proximity to their assigned region.
• Willingness to travel domestically 60% of the time.
